My name is Delaney Jewell, a Nursing Assistant in the Cardiac Step-Down at Nemours Children’s Health and a junior Nursing student at the University of Delaware. One of my long-term goals is to complete a full marathon, and this half marathon is my first big step toward that dream!
I’m incredibly excited to take on this challenge while raising funds for a cause that means so much to me, the Nemours Delaware Valley Compassionate Care Fund. This fund helps restore the health of critically ill and injured children, supporting them and their families wherever the need is greatest. In my role at Nemours, I have the privilege of caring for these brave children and seeing firsthand the impact that compassionate, high-quality care makes.
