2025 Nemours Children's Health Philly Marathon Weekend

Department of Surgery

On Saturday November 22nd and Sunday November 23rd, 2025, various team members from the Department of Surgery will be participating in the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) Philadelphia Marathon Weekend to support the children and families that receive care at Nemours Children's Hospital in Wilmington, Delaware. The funds will support The Stephen P. Dunn Endowed Fund for Surgery. 

Our team goal is to raise $1,000 for each team member running the 8K, $2,500 for each team member running the half marathon, and $5,000 for each team member running the marathon. Due to this, you may see the goal fluctuate as more individuals decide to join the efforts to fundraise for the Department of Surgery Team.
