Join Mellin Parker in supporting the Samaritan Ministries Penny Campaign — a fundraiser providing food, shelter, and hope through Christian love. Mellin is a proud graduate of Winston-Salem State University and a lifetime member of both the WSSU National Alumni Association and the Danville Alumni Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. (Diamond Life). She also served as past president of the North Carolina Community Development Association.
A longtime supporter and current Board Member of Samaritan Ministries, Mellin has been involved with the Penny Campaign for many years. This year, she’s honored to serve as Chair of the Penny Campaign Committee alongside Honorary Chair Lanie Pope.
“The Samaritan Ministries Soup Kitchen is a very special place to the Winston-Salem community,” Mellin shares. “Samaritan is a safe haven for so many people, and the staff provides individual assistance with care and compassion. I hope you’ll join me in supporting the Penny Campaign and helping provide food, shelter, and hope to our neighbors in need.”
