THIS CONTEST HAS ENDED!
The Animal Protective Foundation Pet Photo Contest
The Pet Calendar Photo Contest is a great way to have your pet featured for other animal lovers to see! Enter your pet and encourage your friends and family to vote to ensure your pet gets the recognition they deserve!
This is the third year we are hosting this contest to raise funds for the Animal Protective Foundation and the animals in our care. This fundraiser helps the APF touch the lives of thousands of animals each year and your participation in events, like the Pet Calendar Photo Contest, is critical to supporting our mission. We enjoy seeing all of the images of your pets and reading more about them through their bios.
We are thankful for all of our supporters from last year, and encourage you to submit your pet with hopes they will make the cover!
How does the contest work?
Watch your pet's fundraising page increase on the leaderboard with every donation made! For $25, you can register your pet to enter the contest! For every $1 donated, your pet will get a "vote". This means that if someone donates $20, your pet will automatically have 20 votes added to their total. The pet with the most votes overall will receive their photo on the cover of our 2025 Pet Calendar! The pets that have the most votes in each category (top 5 dogs, 5 cats, and 2 others) will receive a month in the calendar.
Voting will be available until May 24th, 2024. This means you will have over THREE MONTHS to ensure your pet receives a page in the calendar or becomes the overall Cover winner!
IMAGE RULES:
- Ideally, photos should be high resolution (300 dpi), a minimum file size of 4 mb, and in a standard file format. Please note that some phone photos do not meet these standards.
- Photos should be landscape (horizontal) orientation.
- Photos may contain one or more pets.
- Photos may not contain people.
- Photos must be in color.
Note: All photos must meet the criteria above. If your photo does not meet the criteria, we will reach out and request a new one.
Did we mention that ALL entries will have their photo included in a collage in the calendar just for participating?
Check out our past calendar cover winners below and enter your pet for a chance to win and fundraise for a good cause! You will receive your complimentary pet calendar in the mail prior to the start of the holiday season. These pet calendars make the perfect gift for any animal lover!
