Why I Walk

So that more women know the symptoms and can say to their doctor, please, I am concerned about preeclampsia.  

 

My usual blood pressure is around 110/70 so it was very concerning to me when during pregnancy my blood pressure even got to 130/87 even though it was not a red flag for the medical team because they did not take into account pre-pregnancy numbers.  120/80 is healthy average blood pressure, Gestational Hypertension is 140/90 and preeclampsia with severe features includes high blood pressure of 160/110.  Other symptoms to watch out for can be found on preeclampsia.org
