I walk to increase awareness and education, to help raise funds for more research, and to help others not feel as alone.  My story is not what many think about or hear about when the word Preeclampsia is said.  Mine is one that involved postpartum preeclampsia, advocating for myself, being hospitalized with a newborn and three other little ones at home, and luckily having a happy ending.  Preeclampsia does not look the same for all, but it touches the lives of far too many forever leaving an impact.  I walk to make a difference in hopes that one day, there are more survivors, more education, and more support for women, babies, and families.
