As labor and delivery nurses, we have the privilege of walking alongside families during some of the most meaningful moments of their lives.  we also know the heartbreak that preeclampsia can bring. We’ve seen how quickly it can change the course of a pregnancy, threatening the health of both mothers and babies.

That’s why we walk today. We walk for the moms who fight through fear and uncertainty. We walk for the babies who arrive too soon because of this disease. We walk for the fathers and families whose lives have been forever changed. And we walk because we believe in raising awareness, funding research, and giving hope for a future where preeclampsia no longer claims lives.

Every step we take is for the women and babies we care for, and for the promise of safer tomorrows.
