Why RBM Walks

The CEO & Lead Consultant of Reclaim Black Motherhood (RBM), Porsche Holland-Otunba is a native Philadelphian and mother who gave birth in Philly. Porsche was diagnosed with preeclampsia in the  third trimester with her second pregnancy. With the help of an amazing Midwife, Jatolloa Davis pregnancy care was provided and the diagnosis was made. Jatolloa was a life-saving vessel used to support Porsche and her husband, Kayode.  

As a third generation preeclampsia survivor Porsche is passionate about creating spaces for conversations about maternal health, promoting awareness, and advocating for increased research efforts to impact treatment and prevention of preeclampsia.

RBM walks to make a bold statement that we will continue to fight and fund efforts to eradicate preeclampsia!
