Why I Walk

I walk for all the moms who have nearly died due to HELLP syndrome and preeclampsia, because I am one of them. I walk for my son, Jaxon Richard, who was born prematurely and died shortly after delivery while I had HELLP syndrome and severe preeclampsia. I walk for my daughter, Luna, because when she grows older and has babies, I want to make sure she does not develop HELLP or preeclampsia.
