I didnt even know what pre-eclampsia was until my blood pressure spiked at an dr appointment. I never understood who serious pre-eclampsia was until I developed it in labor. I was induced to try to prevent pre-eclampsia and still didnt understood the severity of it until I didnt leave the hospital till 5 days after I gave birth. Im so glad my medical team was aware of the signs and symptoms and monitored me heavily. More people need to be aware of the signs and symptoms and risk factors.
