Event Details
- 10:30am-11:15am - Registration, look for our table with the Promise Walk logo outside of gate 1 to get your ticket and check in before entering the zoo.
- 11:20am-11:30am - Speeches
- 11:30am - 12:30am - Enjoy walking the zoo while meeting old and new friends and family in our community
- Pricing - $18 for all 3 years old+
- Accepted forms of payment for ticket - Cash, Venmo & Paypal
- FYI - Bring additional cash for zoo activites (i.e. feed giraffes, pony rides, etc.)
What is Preeclampsia?
Preeclampsia is a serious disease related to high blood pressure during pregnancy that takes the lives of 76,000 mothers and 500,000 babies each year worldwide. It can happen to any pregnant woman during the second half of her pregnancy, or up to six weeks after delivery. Right now, there’s no known cure for preeclampsia or way to prevent it. That’s why we walk.
