The Promise Walk for Preeclampsia™ supports the mission of the Preeclampsia Foundation as we provide patient support and education, raise public awareness, catalyze research and improve health care practices for millions of mothers and their babies every year who are impacted by preeclampsia and related hypertensive disorders of pregnancy.

Location: Belle Isle Park – Cricket Field – Detroit, MI
Note: The park requires volunteers and participants to adhere to the Recreation Passport Policy. A recreation passport can be obtained at the Secretary of State (when renewing your license plate), at the park booth on the day of the event or in advance at the park administrative office during regular business hours (M-F/8AM -4:30PM). Eulonda Whitmore was diagnosed with severe preeclampsia and the HELLP syndrome in October 2015. At 20 weeks + 5 days, she delivered her sleeping angel, Yalon Elise Isaac.
