2025 Punch for PKU FAQ's

What is Punch for PKU?

Punch for PKU is a national event that invites individuals and families to practice their advocacy skills and raise awareness and funds for PKU by serving punch to their communities.

It's simple and fun, just like a lemonade stand. You set up a table, serve a refreshing drink in exchange for donations.  While handing out punch, you are also practicing advocacy by talking about why PKU awareness and research matter! This is a great way to involve kids, teens, and adults in making a difference.

The best part? Anyone can do it, anywhere!

What do I need for my Punch for PKU stand?

-A table or stand to serve your punch front

-Signs announcing your stand. Get creative and make your own large signs and visit the Punch for PKU toolkit for printable flyers!

- Punch ingredients (see the toolkit for a recipe option!)

-Cups to serve your punch!

Participants are kindly asked to gather their own materials for their events. We appreciate your creativity and commitment to raising awareness and funds for PKU, and we’re here to support you with resources, ideas, and encouragement along the way!

When do I need to have my Punch for PKU stand?
