Help us break the cycle of poverty!
On Saturday, November 23rd our team Women Above Power is participating in the Quack Attack on Poverty 5k benefiting United Against Poverty. During the race we will be making our way through a 3.1 mile course...all while wearing an inflatable duck-shaped pool float around our waists! We're really looking forward to being part of this event and making a meaningful impact in this community.
The goal of this fun event is to raise funds and awareness for United Against Poverty's holiday programs, Hopeful Harvest and Hope for the Holidays. These events provide Thanksgiving meals and a breakfast meal with toys to Central Florida families living in poverty.
At Women Above Power, our mission is to empower women facing life’s toughest challenges by providing access to resources in mental health, housing, job opportunities, childcare, and food assistance. Our vision is to create a community where women rise above circumstances and build strong, thriving futures. Partnering with United Against Poverty for this event aligns perfectly with our values of empowerment, compassion, and community impact.
