Hi! My name is AJ, and this is my last of ten years at Veritas. I have been at the school for an entire decade, and I'm so grateful for all the awesome teachers and friends I've made along the way. This school has truly brought me so many great experiences and memories that I believe I'll retain even in future years to come. From going to numerous field trip locations, such as Acadia National Park, the Florida Keys, and even Washington, DC, Veritas is such a dynamic, hands-on atmosphere. I have had the opportunity to partake in multiple unforgettable experiences even inside the school, such as the 7th grade Science Fair, 8th grade mentoring, and my performance as Beast in Disney's Beauty & the Beast, this year's school musical. My friends at Veritas are undoubtedly some of the best I've ever made, and I can't thank the school enough for the opportunity to meet these people. Veritas has helped me discover who I am, through vigorous art classes spent honing my technique and literature classes developing a love for reading and writing that I doubt will ever fade. Thank you to all the people who have supported me on my journey, and I hope that my new high school, CSW, will be as great a place at VCA has been.

In the meantime, Veritas needs all the help it can get from donors, so to help support the school that has supported me so well in years past, it would mean so much to me and everyone there to donate; anything helps! For this year's Run for the Future, we will be running a bit over a 3K to the new Veritas property that donations help to fund. As I received the Veritas 2024-25 Cross Country Coach's Award, I can't wait to give my all in this previously unheard of distance run!

Run for the Future is Veritas' annual fun run challenge and fundraising event in support of our new campus construction at 164 Cochituate Road.

…about the Veritas Village

Veritas Christian Acadmey (K-8) is currently located inside Celebration International Church in Wayland, Massachusetts. As demand for a Veritas education consistently increased over the last 15 years, space limitations have become our greatest constraint. 

With a vision to build a permanent campus, Veritas Christian Acadecmy acquired an eight-acre property in 2019 on Cochituate Road, two miles for our current K-8 campus. In 2023, we purchased an additional two acres. These ten acres provide an ideal location for a new, permanent home where students can learn, grow, and explore while surrounded by the natural beauty of our area. 

Much like our school philosophy, our architectural plan for this campus is distinct by design. The Veritas Village will be a campus with several schoolhouses and school buildings througout our beautiful grounds. By adopting a campus model with a series of schoolhouse buildings, our design blends the educational needs of our school while incorporating the natural beauty of the property.

Veritas is in the process of seeking approval from the Town of Wayland for the construction of our Middle School facilities. We hope to break ground on this project in Spring 2025 with the plan to have our Middle School students on site as soon as possible.
