Henrietta and Hudson Schoeffler

Hi, we're Henrietta and Hudson! Henrietta has been going to Veritas Christian Academy since Kindergarten, and is now in 8th grade. Hudson has been going to Veritas since pre-K and is now in 5th grade. At Veritas we are aiming to pursue exellence in all we do through a strong, authentic faith in God, a deep love for everyone, and the ability to reason throught our world's toughest problems. Hudson's favorite class is history, and really likes his teacher Mrs. Kopacz because she is respectful, teaches clearly and with love, is knowledgeable at her subject, and he always has fun in her class. Henrietta's favorite class is science, and she has enjoyed making soap and chocolate while learing about chemistry, and making paper roller coasters and paper rockets while learing about physics. Her teacher Mr. Dancer makes every student feel included and supported, is more than willing to stop whatever he's doing to help them, and always has plenty of snacks for them in the classroom cuboards. Since Henrietta started coming to Veritas in kindergarten, the school has grown a lot, and has recently purchased a new property. The plan is to build a new campus on that land that will expand our school and allow more students to come to Veritas. We want to break ground as soon as possible, but need your help to do so. Your donation will go directly towards the construction of the Veritas Village (more details below in the Run for the Future 2025 section). Please support our personal goal to raise $500 so that we can pave the way for a new generation of world-changing students!

Run for the Future is Veritas' annual fun run challenge and fundraising event in support of our new campus construction at 164 Cochituate Road.

…about the Veritas Village

Veritas Christian Acadmey (K-8) is currently located inside Celebration International Church in Wayland, Massachusetts. As demand for a Veritas education consistently increased over the last 15 years, space limitations have become our greatest constraint. 

With a vision to build a permanent campus, Veritas Christian Acadecmy acquired an eight-acre property in 2019 on Cochituate Road, two miles for our current K-8 campus. In 2023, we purchased an additional two acres. These ten acres provide an ideal location for a new, permanent home where students can learn, grow, and explore while surrounded by the natural beauty of our area. 

Much like our school philosophy, our architectural plan for this campus is distinct by design. The Veritas Village will be a campus with several schoolhouses and school buildings througout our beautiful grounds. By adopting a campus model with a series of schoolhouse buildings, our design blends the educational needs of our school while incorporating the natural beauty of the property.

Veritas is in the process of seeking approval from the Town of Wayland for the construction of our Middle School facilities. We hope to break ground on this project in Spring 2025 with the plan to have our Middle School students on site as soon as possible.
