Danny Yepez

Hi! My name is Danny and I'm in 1st grade. 

I love Veritas because I love learning. My favorite class is Lexia. At Veritas, we get to learn about God. I also love when Mrs. Wellman brings her puppy Winnie to visit. Veritas is the best school. At this school, it is okay to make mistakes. We can learn from our mistakes and try the next time. 

Also, my teacher is fun. I love my teacher, and she loves me. She helps me with things that are hard. She is always for us! She helped us do a science experiment to learn about the phases of the moon. We used oreos to demonstrate. We used the cream as the light part of the moon, and the cookie to represent the dark part. 

I would like to thank my best friends for making school so fun! I love my friends because they are kind and encouraging. They always want to have fun. 

Run for the Future is Veritas' annual fun run challenge and fundraising event in support of our new campus construction at 164 Cochituate Road.

…about the Veritas Village

Veritas Christian Acadmey (K-8) is currently located inside Celebration International Church in Wayland, Massachusetts. As demand for a Veritas education consistently increased over the last 15 years, space limitations have become our greatest constraint. 

With a vision to build a permanent campus, Veritas Christian Acadecmy acquired an eight-acre property in 2019 on Cochituate Road, two miles for our current K-8 campus. In 2023, we purchased an additional two acres. These ten acres provide an ideal location for a new, permanent home where students can learn, grow, and explore while surrounded by the natural beauty of our area. 

Much like our school philosophy, our architectural plan for this campus is distinct by design. The Veritas Village will be a campus with several schoolhouses and school buildings througout our beautiful grounds. By adopting a campus model with a series of schoolhouse buildings, our design blends the educational needs of our school while incorporating the natural beauty of the property.

Veritas is in the process of seeking approval from the Town of Wayland for the construction of our Middle School facilities. We hope to break ground on this project in Spring 2025 with the plan to have our Middle School students on site as soon as possible.
