The other families’ stories here resonate with me a great deal when I think about Wiley’s story. His medical record is a couple hundred pages of the same hospital trips, seizures and eventual diagnosis. But Wiley is also himself.
Wiley is 4. He loves to cook and pretend to cook. Play the claw machine. Jump in bounce houses.
He loves his family, especially his grandparents, sometimes his sister.
Wiley loves to shout “cannonball” and jump in a pool or really anything.
Our hope for Wiley is that he keeps finding things that make him happy. And that he can forget about the other things.
