I’m proud to be participating in the Snowshoe Shuffle, supporting Colorado Animal Rescue (C.A.R.E.)! This event helps provide shelter, medical care, and second chances for pets in need, and supports community programs that keep pets and their people together.

Every year I participate in the CARE Snowshoe Shuffle in honor of my sister, Allie, who loved animals more than anyone I've ever met. She worked as a Vet Tech, including for CARE, and adopted no less than 7 cats and 1 dog from there . . . She was the person who first introduced me to this race. We participated together before she passed away in 2012, and I have continued to attend every year in her honor. 

In addition to Allie, I'm shuffling in honor of my rescue kitty, Bergi. She is the best cat ever, and to say I am obsessed with her is an understatement. I am so grateful for CARE for the care they took with her, and for helping match us 4 years ago.
