In a few sentences, describe your connection to U2FP, why you chose to run in support of U2FP, and whether you have a personal connection to spinal cord injury and paralysis: I am paralyzed and U2FP is the only one in the US doing this kinda work, changing the research landscape, lobbying for more research funding, all while making sure those of us with the injury are PART OF THE PROCESS!!!!
Is this your first marathon/race? If not, what others have you completed? TCM last year as their inaugural mobility device registration opened up.
What do you crave after a long run? My legs to work, hahahah….. No? Bananas and Peanut butter.
Do you listen to anything when you train or race? If yes, what? Podcasts, tunes and nature.
What are you most excited and/or nervous about for the marathon? My whole peeing scene, hopefully to not become a scene.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time? Playing outside, swimming, snuggling with my dog Ruby.
