People leave the shelter and say, "I don't know how you do it." Sometimes I want to respond, "I don't know how you don't."

As many of you know, the Capital Area Humane Society holds a special place in my heart. Not only do I work there, but for the past four years I’ve also raised funds to support the animals who come through our doors. These donations help cover food, medical care, and all the little things that make a huge difference for animals waiting for their forever homes.

Here’s the thing, I’ve never quite reached my fundraising goal. This year, I would love more than anything to finally get there. I’m already halfway, but I can’t do it alone. That’s where you come in.
