Dr. Natalie Fikac has over 29 years of experience in education as a teacher, reading interventionist, school counselor, and campus and district administrator. She holds a Master's in School Counseling and Administration, a Doctorate in Educational Leadership, and most recently served as Director of Guidance & Counseling, supporting professional school counselors and leading a district crisis team. She has worked with the Texas Education Agency and the Texas Institute for Excellence in Mental Health (TIEMH) at the University of Texas at Austin on mental and behavioral health initiatives.
Currently, she adjuncts at Liberty University and Angelo State University and advocates for self-preservation and self-compassion practices with her motto, "You can't pour from an empty cup." Passionate about leadership, wellness, and resiliency, Dr. Fikac has presented at numerous conferences nationwide and trained over 1,000 leaders globally as a Certified Dare to Leadâ„¢ Facilitator, trained by Dr. BrenĂ© Brown.
