Race Day Important Information

THE WOOFSTOCK 5K/WALK-A-THON WILL TAKE PLACE JUNE 1, 2025 AT LIONS PAVILION IN SCOTIA!

The routes include a 5K run or walk.

The courses will begin and finish at the parking lot in front of Lions Pavillion located in Collins Park, Scotia. They will bring runners and walkers toward Collins Lake using Kiwanis Way at the start. 

PRE-REGISTRATION/PACKET PICK UP:

The Woofstock 5K and Walk-A-Thon will have two (2) pre-registration pick up periods as noted below*:

  1. Pre-Registration Day 1
    1. May 28th @ 10:00am through 4:00pm
  2. Pre-Registration Day 2
    1. May 29th @ 12:00pm through 4:00pm 

*If runners and walkers do not arrive for either of these pick up days and times, you can call 518-374-3944 x113 to schedule a pick up, or pick up the morning of the event. PLEASE NOTE: All runner T-shirts are first come first serve. Pre-registration pick up will get priority over day of pick up.

  • Can't attend in-person? Consider donating today!

PRICING:

  1. The registration fee for all events are $30 per registrant.
  2. All registrants will commit to a $50 fundraising goal upon sign up. You can have friends and family contribute to this goal, or you as the registrant can add funds to put yourself closer to the goal. If your goal is not met by the race day, the remaining funds will be decucted from the registrants card on file. Please see the FAQs section on the Home Page for examples. 

RACE INCENTIVES:

  • Anyone who signs up by 12:00 am on May 26th is will receive a moisture-wicking runners t-shirt to show off to your family and friends, while supplies last!
  • Anyone who fundraises over $100 individually by 12:00 am on May 26th, will recieve an additional 2025 Woofstock Festival shirt, while supplies last.

PUBLIC HEALTH PROTOCOL:

  • As of today, there are no specific restrictions in place.
  • Please stay tuned to our communications via email and social media for any potential updates. 
  • By registering for this event, you agree to abide by the health and safety measures in effect at the time of the event.

RACE SAFETY:

  • The course is restricted to registered runners, walkers and their pets as well as official race personnel/volunteers.
  • Skateboards, in-line skates, roller skates, and bicycles are prohibited.
