2026 South Florida Optimism Walk for Parkinson's

Join us for the APDA Optimism Walk!

Walkers will come together nationwide in 2026 to step towards supporting all people affected by Parkinson's disease. Your fundraising dollars at the South Florida Optimism Walk for Parkinson's will go directly toward the local community, expanding local programs and services to help more people with Parkinson's disease live life to the fullest, as well as fund cutting-edge research to help find better treatments and ultimately, a cure.

The event will take place at the FAU Track & Field Complex located at 777 Glades Road on the main campus of Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton.

Complimentary parking will be available in Lot 8 and accessible parking in lot 10. 

Getting to the Event From Glades Road (Main FAU Entrance)

Destination:
FAU Track & Field Complex

1. Enter FAU from Glades Road

   • Turn onto West University Drive (main campus entrance).

2. Continue straight on West University Drive.

3. Proceed straight on West University Drive, passing Volusia Street.

4. Proceed straight on West University Drive, passing Gladys Davis Pavilion - Center for Global Engagement (International Student Services)

5.  Take the first Right into Parking Lot 8 

   • Located on the East Side of West University Drive (Across the street from the track complex)
