Big Hair, Big Hearts: Wigs Welcome!

This year’s event invites you to bring the big hair and even bigger heart. Wigs are welcome—wild, colorful, playful or proudly over-the-top—as we come together for a morning that’s equal parts movement, community and joy.

Whether you’re walking or running, this is your chance to show up, stand out and help support people impacted by HIV. It’s a celebration of creativity, connection and the power of being together—because this fight deserves both purpose and fun.

2nd Annual Lois Kay Kids Fund Run!

Caracole is honored to host our 2nd ANNUAL Lois Kay Kids Fun Run, named in memory of our dear friend and volunteer, Lois KayLois was a beloved member of the Caracole family, and her impact on our mission is still felt today.

Known for her ability to foster meaningful relationships and welcome everyone with open arms and without judgment, Lois volunteered at or attended nearly every Caracole event. Her warmth and acceptance made her a surrogate mother to many, especially members of the LGBTQ+ community, many of whom lacked familial support. Lois embodied the spirit of inclusion and love, always open to new experiences and ideas—and we are forever grateful she shared that spirit with Caracole.

The Lois Kay Kids Fun Run celebrates her legacy by continuing her mission of building strong, supportive connections—and having a lot of fun along the way!

Donate Personal Care Items

70% of Caracole clients are unable to afford basic hygiene products, like body wash, soap and gender neutral deodorant. These personal care items cannot be purchased with SNAP/EBT benefits. With the majority of our clients living with less than $15K a year, these donations make a difference to them.

Donate personal care items on Sunday, March 29 to help our clients in need!
