Art of Note is the largest annual fundraising event for the Wisconsin Youth Symphony Orchestras (WYSO). It is an evening of performances, dinner, auctions, and more, taking place on Sunday, November 1, 2026. All proceeds benefit the programs and scholarships of the Wisconsin Youth Symphony Orchestras.

The Wisconsin Youth Symphony Orchestras was established in 1966, in large part by Professor Marvin Rabin of the University of Wisconsin-Extension Music Department. More than 5,000 young musicians from communities throughout southern Wisconsin have participated in WYSO during its 60 years of existence. Under the current artistic direction of Music Director Kyle Knox and Executive Director Michelle Kaebisch, WYSO includes three full orchestras, two string orchestras, a chamber music program, a harp program, a percussion ensemble, a brass choir program, and the WYSO Music Makers program.
