The 37th Annual Bandana Ball: Building A Stronger Tomorrow

37th annual Bandana Ball Raffle Rules: Ronald McDonald House of Central Texas (74-2277664) aka Ronald McDonald House Central Texas, aka RMHC CTX or RMH CTX; is a qualified to run a Texas raffle due to Sec. 2002.003. QUALIFIED NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION. (a) An organization incorporated or holding a certificate of authority under the Texas Non-Profit Corporation Act (Article 1396-1.01 et seq., Vernon's Texas Civil Statutes) is a qualified nonprofit organization for the purposes of this chapter if the organization: 

1. RMHC CTX will be hosting our Bandana Ball Raffle ("Raffle") from Tuesday, August 19 - September 18, 2026. Tickets can be purchased by visiting the 37th annual Bandana Ball event site. The event site: https://secure.qgiv.com/event/2026bandanaball/. Raffle tickets will be $50 per ticket with a maximum number of tickets to be sold during the time frame is 5,000. The Bandana Ball Raffle will contain three prizes, the raffle ticket purchaser will choose the prize that they would like to purchase a raffle ticket(s) to win. Note: The deadline to purchase tickets online or in-person at the 37th annual Bandana Ball (101 Red River St. 78701, Fairmont Austin) is Friday, September 18, 2026 by 7:59 p.m. or until 5,000 tickets have been sold ("Entry Period"). Raffle tickets will be sold by choosing the raffle item that the purchaser would like to win. A random drawing will be conducted for each of the three raffle prizes featured at the 37th annual Bandana Ball. The winner does not have to be present to win.

3. OFFICIAL DRAWING: The official drawing will take place on or before September 18, 2026 at approximately 8:45 p.m. at the Fairmont Austin (101 Red River St. Austin, Texas 78701), as part of the 37th annual Bandana Ball. The winner does not need to be present to win.

4. PRIZES: Prizes include (in random order): 1. "The Sparkle" Sterling silver and 14 KT yellow gold 4mm Vahan bracelet with 0.11 ct wt of diamonds. 2. "The Getaway", Two-night stay at the Fredericksburg Getaway at Fritztown Finest. The 4 bedroom, 3 bath home can accommodate up to 10 guests and is valid to redeem based on availability (blackout dates are included) from 9/18/2026-9/18/2027; Retail Value: $1,400. 3. "The Experience", gift certificate to dine at Ema (located at 3120 Palm Way Ste. 170 Austin, Texas 78758. The gift certificate is for up to eight guests and valued at $750. Reservations using this gift certificate are subject to availability and do not include a private dining space. Coordinate your experience with Kathryn Saldivar at ksalvidar@lettuce.com.  Prizes are not transferable.  No substitution or cash redemption of any Prize, or any portion thereof, is allowed, except at the sole discretion of the Sponsor. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute any Prize with another prize of equal or greater value. Sponsor is not responsible for any inability of any winner to accept or use any Prize (or portion thereof) for any reason. No more than the stated Prize(s) will be awarded. Limit of one (1) Prize per family/household/address. Winner is solely responsible for all unspecified costs and expenses associated with Prize acceptance and use. Transfer of Prize(s) is not permitted without the permission of Sponsor which may be granted or withheld in its sole discretion and without liability of any kind. A Prize value as stated represents Sponsor’s good faith determination of approximate retail value of prizes. No substitution or cash redemption of any Prize(s), or any portion thereof, is allowed, except at the sole discretion of the Sponsor. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute any Prize with another prize of equal or greater value. Sponsor is not responsible for any inability of any winner to accept or use any Prize (or portion thereof) for any reason. No more than the stated Prize(s) will be awarded. 5. DETERMINATION OF WINNER.  A random drawing will be conducted on Friday, September 18, 2026, from among all eligible entries received. The drawing will take place on or before Friday, September 18, 2026, following the end of the Bandana Ball program at the Fairmont Austin. Odds of winning depend upon the number of eligible entries received, not to exceed 5,000 tickets sold. The winner will be notified by telephone, mail, and/or email. The winner will be required to complete an affidavit of eligibility and release, which must be completed and returned within four (4) days of issuance of notification or an alternate winner will be selected.  Any attempt to deliberately damage the content or operation of this Raffle is unlawful and subject to legal action by the Sponsor or its agents. TICKETS (PRIZE) ARE NON-TRANSFERABLE AND CANNOT BE SOLD. 

6. TAXES.  All applicable federal, state, and local tax associated with winning the prize in the Raffle will be the sole responsibility of the winner. Each winner agrees to complete and submit to Sponsor any documentation needed to report the raffle prize to the appropriate tax authority(ies). Ticket purchasers are advised to consult their own tax advisors with respect to tax liabilities that may arise from winning a prize in the Raffle.  Each winner shall be provided a 1099 form for income tax purposes because the value of the prize exceeds $500. ELIGIBILITY.  The Raffle is open to legal residents of the State of Texas, United States, who are physically located in the State of Texas, United States and who are 18 years of age or older as of August 1, 2026. The Raffle is void where prohibited.  Employees and Directors of the Sponsor and their immediate families are not eligible to win the grand prize.  Immediate family is defined as, through either blood or marriage, one degree of familial relationship (including in-laws and step-family), such as your spouse, your siblings, your parents, and your children.  Immediate family does not include other family members (including in-laws and step-family), such as grandchildren, grandparents, nieces, or nephews.

   3. LIMITATIONS ON LIABILITY AND DISCLAIMERS.  Sponsor, its employees and its Directors, will not be responsible for or liable to any prize winner, winner’s family, or estate for any submissions of entries that are lost, late, illegible, damaged, incomplete, or incorrect. Sponsor can, at any time it chooses without notice or recourse, decide to terminate or modify the Raffle if the integrity of the Raffle appears to be compromised. If the Raffle is cancelled, or otherwise cannot be run as intended, all monies paid for raffle tickets as of the date of cancellation will be returned to entrants. Decisions of the Sponsor related to the winner, interpretation of official rules, and other matters related to this Raffle are final.

9. GENERAL.  Winner consents to the use of his or her name, biographical information, photographs and/or likeness for advertising and publicity purposes without additional compensation, except where prohibited.  Sponsor reserves the right to verify eligibility qualifications of the winner.  Purchased tickets are not tax deductible nor considered a donation to the Sponsor. Winners and guests must demonstrate appropriate and respectful behavior during the race event, inappropriate behavior may result in forfeiture of prize. 

10. TERMS AND CONDITIONS - An eligible entrant may only enter via the ticket purchasing methods as described above. Incomplete entries are void.  By participating in the Raffle, you fully and unconditionally accept and agree to be bound by these Official Rules, and you represent and warrant that you meet the eligibility requirements set forth herein. In addition, you agree to accept the decisions of the Sponsor as final and binding as it relates to the Raffle. You agree that Sponsor shall retain full authority, in its sole discretion, to interpret and administer these Official Rules, and you agree to be bound by all decisions and interpretations made in good faith by Sponsor, or its designee.  All entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be returned. Neither Sponsor nor advertising and promotion agencies are responsible for incorrect or inaccurate transcription of entry information, or any other error or malfunction, or late, lost, illegible or misdirected entries.  Entry materials that have been tampered with or altered are void.  No copies, facsimiles, or reproductions of entries will be accepted. 

11. GOVERNING LAW. This Raffle is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws. All disputes surrounding the Raffle and any prize awarded hereunder will be subject to the substantive laws of Texas. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED OR RESTRICTED BY LAW. 

12. The Raffle is sponsored by the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Texas aka Ronald McDonald House Central Texas, a non-profit corporation (EIN 74-2277664), 1315 Barbara Jordan Blvd. Austin, Texas 78723 (“Sponsor”).  All decisions of the Sponsor are final. 

13. LIMITATIONS ON LIABILITY AND DISCLAIMERS.  Sponsor, its employees and its Directors, will not be responsible for or liable to any prize winner, winner’s family, or estate for any submissions of entries that are lost, late, illegible, damaged, incomplete, or incorrect.  Sponsor can, at any time it chooses without notice or recourse, decide to terminate or modify the Raffle if the integrity of the Raffle appears to be compromised. HOLD HARMLESS.  By participating, you agree to hold harmless the Sponsor, and any of their subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees, and agencies from any liability whatsoever, and waive and release such parties from any and all causes of action, for any claims, costs, injuries, losses, or damages of any kind (including, without limitation, claims, costs, injuries, losses, and damages related to personal injuries, death, damage to or destruction of property, rights of publicity or privacy, defamation or portrayal in a false light, whether intentional or unintentional) arising out of or in connection with the event or acceptance, possession, or use/misuse of the Prize, or participation in the Raffle or Raffle-related activity, whether under a theory of contract, torts (including, without limitation, negligence), warranty, or any other theory or cause of action.
