I’m thrilled to be FINALLY  participating in 2026 Bank of America Chicago Marathon with Team One Step! I’m passionate about this cause and need your help! Team One Step supports Camp One Step by Children's Oncology Services, an organization that operates camps and other recreational and educational experiences for children who have been diagnosed with cancer.  Camp One Step Programs aim to cure the spirit by providing an environment of hope.

MY STORY:

I’ve been running for 15 years, and it has become so much more than exercise for me. Running clears my head, lifts the weight of whatever’s going on in my life, and gives me the feeling that I’m leaving the hard things behind with every step. It’s my therapy, my reset button, and truly something I can’t imagine my life without.

What started as a simple way to stay active has grown into a passion that has taken me on an incredible journey. It has challenged me, made me stronger—inside and out—and introduced me to some really amazing people along the way.

For the last few years, I’ve tried to get into the Bank of America Chicago Marathon through the lottery, but I haven’t been selected. Although I have ran over a hundred races (5K's, 10K's, 15K's and half marathons), I have never ran a marathon in my life.  I have my heart set on Chicago to be my first marathon.  So this year, I’ve decided to run through a charity team, which means I am committed to raising $2,200. I’m excited, a little nervous, and incredibly grateful for the chance.

I hope you’ll consider supporting me. No amount is too small—truly. And if you’re not in a position to donate, I completely understand; your good juju, positive vibes, and prayers for a strong tailwind (so I’m nice and light on my feet!) mean just as much!
