Running the Chicago Marathon has become more than just a race for me, it’s a chance to give back in a meaningful way. For the third time (after 2022 and 2023), I’m thrilled to be participating in 2026 Bank of America Chicago Marathon with Team One Step, an organization that truly puts kids first.

Camp One Step gives children facing serious health challenges the opportunity to just be kids - to laugh, build friendships, try new activities, and experience joy in a place where they feel understood and supported. Camp is more than a break from daily challenges; it’s a life-changing experience that builds confidence, independence, and lifelong memories.

This year, my goal is to raise $3,000, which will help send two kids to camp. Two kids who deserve a week filled with fun, connection, and moments where illness takes a back seat to possibility. Every donation, big or small, helps me reach my fundraising goal and directly impacts this important cause.

Here’s how your contribution makes an impact:
$50 Buy snacks for the treat truck.
$100 Purchase medical supplies.
$250 Support local fun for families such as horseback riding.
$500 Provide a camp opportunity to a child in the hospital.
$1,500 Send a child with cancer to camp.
