I'm running the 2026 Bank of America Chicago Marathon with Team One Step for a purpose that's deeply personal to me.
Recently, childhood cancer hit close to home when a friend's child was diagnosed with leukemia. Watching their family navigate this journey with unwavering faith, strength, and hope has been incredibly moving. He is hopefully at the tail end of treatment, but the experience has left a lasting impact on our hearts.
Camp One Step gives children facing cancer, and their families, a chance to simply be kids again. Through free, year-round camps they create spaces filled with joy, connection, and moments of normalcy during a journey that is anything but normal.
Running 26.2 miles is no small feat, but it's nothing compared to what these kids and families face every day.
Any donation, big or small, truly makes a difference and helps me exceed my fundraising goal while supporting children and families impacted by childhood cancer.
Here's how you can help:
- Donate - Give whatever you can.. no amount is too small
- Spread the word - Please share my page with friends, family, or your network
Thank you for being a part of this journey with me. I'm grateful for your support.
