I’m thrilled to announce that I will be running the 2026 Bank of America Chicago Marathon!
I am fundraising for Unite 2 Fight Paralysis, an incredible organization that has spent the last 20 years working to increase accessibility for individuals who have suffered spinal cord injuries through fundraising, research, and legislation.
I would greatly appreciate your support. Every donation—big or small—will not only help me reach my fundraising goal, but will also directly impact this important cause.
Here’s how you can help:
• Donate: Contribute whatever you can—no amount is too small!
• Spread the Word: Share my fundraising page with your friends, family, and social networks. Together, we can raise awareness and make a bigger impact.
My dear friend, Gavin Birl, suffered a spinal cord injury at 16 years old in a snowboarding accident that abruptly changed the course of his life. He has persevered through surgery, rehabilitation, and navigating a world that is often inaccessible for those who are paralyzed.
Gavin’s accomplishments since his accident in 2021—including walking across the stage at his high school graduation just two years later, living independently, and founding his own company (GC Pickles)—are nothing short of inspiring.
