An evening of music and generosity benefiting My Very Own Bed

Join us on March 7 for an unforgettable night of music, laughter, and purpose. We’re thrilled to host our annual signature fundraiser at the beautiful Nicollet Island Pavilion, with more room to celebrate a growing mission and create even greater impact together!

Comedian Miss Shannan returns as emcee, bringing her signature spark, alongside the high-energy, homegrown street-music sound of the Brass Messengers, guaranteed to get you moving. Your presence helps give children the foundation for better sleep and brighter days.

This inclusive, adults-only community celebration includes delicious appetizers and desserts, a cash bar, a lively silent auction, and an inspiring program and live auction.

Our goal is to raise $120,000 to provide new beds and Dream Kits for kids who have recently moved into stable housing across the Twin Cities. Bring a friend or two and help us make a big difference.

Our Emcee: Miss Shannan Paul

Miss Shannan is one of the few Black women working in the U.S. professionally as a Certified Benefit Auctioneer. Host to countless corporate and charity events and acting board member for the Pacer Center and Autism Society of Minnesota, Miss Shannan's storytelling, comedy, and infectious smile make her performances unforgettable.

A sprawling fun factory of ten musicians based in the Twin Cities, The Brass Messengers are known for creating joyful noise. Their sound ranges from inspired originals to globe-spanning sing-alongs and reimagined covers, all rooted in a distinctly homegrown Minneapolis street music spirit that rises straight from the heart of the band.
