We're raising money for Capital Cup for Kids!
Mites from around the region will be hitting the ice on Thursday, April 30th from 7:15pm - 8:30pm at the Albany County Hockey Facility as part of Capital Cup for Kids' 2026 Mites Mania event.
Capital Cup for Kids is an adult hockey event that raises funds in support of Building on Love, Capital Cup for Kids, Make A Wish of NE NY and other great local charities. These organizations rally around local families caring for a seriously ill child.
Mites Mania is organized by local teens who love hockey and giving back to their community. They raise funds for a specific family whose child is battling cancer who serves as the Mites Mania Honorary Captain.
Space is limited. Register your 2017 (8-year-old), 2018 (7-year-old) or 2016 (6-year-old) Mite today.
Participants will be randomly assigned to one of 4 teams, led by certified, highly skilled coaches. Games will be 4 vs 4. All teams will play at least 3 games.
Registration is just $20, and in keeping with the spirit of the Capital Cup for Kids, participants are encouraged to raise funds to help the Mites Mania Honorary Captain's Family.
Post game pizza will be provided.

Mites Mania Registration Form Instructions
Our registration system is a little confusing, so here is a quick step-by-step guide to help you get signed up.
- Click the box that reads “Member of our Team – Register Here.”
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and click “Mites Mania Participant.”
- A new screen will appear with a box that says “Choose Classification: Mites Mania Participant.”
- Click on “Next” button that box
- This will take you to the registration form that you can complete to register your mite
Important Note:
The system automatically shows a $500 fundraising goal per player. We cannot adjust this setting, so please ignore it. We simply ask that each Mite raise $50 total, which includes the $20 registration fee.
