ABOUT THE CONSERVANCY
Founded in 1997, Conservancy of the Sea Islands is a nationally accredited land trust dedicated to conservation, environmental restoration, and science-based education across Johns, Kiawah, and Seabrook Islands. Working with landowners, community members, and public and private partners, we permanently protect the lands, waters, and wildlife that define the region’s unique character and ecological health.
To date, the Conservancy has preserved 90 properties totaling more than 3,900 acres of ecologically significant land accross Johns, Kiawah, and Seabrook Islands.
