One of my closest friends, Maria Horan, has always been an incredible source of inspiration to me. She goes above and beyond for everyone around her, with a heart that’s as caring as it is generous. She constantly encourages others to be the best versions of themselves.

Maria has often shared with me the meaningful work of the Dragon Master Foundation. Years ago, she told me about a dear friend from high school who tragically lost his life to brain cancer. In his honor, his mother founded the Dragon Master Foundation to support cancer research and help find life-saving treatments.

I ran with Dragon Masters in February 2025, and I’m so excited for the opportunity to raise money again for the upcoming race in February 2026. I want to continue contributing to the foundation’s fundraising goals and help further the important research that can save lives.
