Why I run for Team Fired Up, is because I believe in cancer research and awareness. I've ran and raised money for many cancer charities such as St Jude and Susan G. Komen. I want to continue to support families and anyone who has been affected by all types of cancers because my aunt is a breast cancer survivor and I have many family members who have lost their battle with the disease. I'm a school teacher and love running as a hobby and a way to help with my mental health.
