Why I run for Team Fired Up

In August of 2017 my best buddy, Ezra, was diagnosed with Medulloblastoma, a malignant type of brain tumor. He was immediately taken into surgery and began what would be a 13 month fight against cancer. Ezra was largely treated at Dayton Children's Hospital, a member institution of the Children's Brain Tumor Network, of which Dragon Master Initiative serves on the executive council. Together, they are all fighting for more research and ultimately an end to pediatric brain cancer. 

I continue to run to support Dragon Master Initiative in hopes that one day, families won't have to experience the heartbreak that is watching a child and a loved one lose a battle they never should have had to fight. I run to honor the memory of those we've lost.
