Why I run for Team Fired Up

I feel healthy enough to run the Disney Marathon in 2026. I did it back in 2016 and it was amazing experience, but this go around I was having trouble finding a good reason to run around the Disney parks for 26 miles like a crazy person. 

Then I found the charity page. I could join a team and raise money for a cause that is near and dear to my heart. That cause is cancer.

Let's be honest.. cancer sucks. Cancer took my beautiful Aunt Patty and incredible Mother In Law Janice Reynolds.

I have joined Team Fired Up and partnered with Dragon Masters Initiative. I will be running the Disney Marathon on January 11th, 2026 in memory of Patty and Janice and will be raising money for brain tumor and cancer research.
