Why I run for Team Fired Up

I’m running the runDisney 10K with Dragon Master Initiative to turn love into action and loss into hope, in honor of two people who shaped my heart forever. When I was 17, my dad was diagnosed with lung cancer. He fought with incredible courage for three years, and even in the hardest moments, he taught us what strength and hope look like. Ten years later, my family faced cancer again when my big brother was diagnosed with a brain tumor and passed away shortly after.

I run to honor them both. Not just in remembrance, but in motion. Every mile is a promise to keep moving forward, to believe in progress, and to help fund research and treatments that gives families more time and more tomorrows. Your support helps transform grief into purpose and brings us closer to a future where hope is stronger than cancer. Every step I take is for them, and for every family still waiting for a cure ✨ Every dollar helps family receive the treatment they need. Thank you for your support.
