I’m participating in next years Disney World Marathon Weekend to raise money for the Dragon Master Initiative. This organization is really important to me. It was founded by my friend David's mom, after he lost his battle with Glioblastoma Multiform. David was 16 years old when he was diagnosed. I was 14 years old at the time and did not truly understand what cancer was or what that meant for my friend. 

DMI also works with world class cancer researchers. This collaboration with CAVATICA really changes what researchers can accomplish. When it comes to a patient and their family’s journey with cancer, time is a precious, fleeting resource. Through CAVATICA, real-time feedback is shared, allowing researchers to modify the trials as we move forward instead of waiting for the results. Our platform provides researchers with the ability to find out what works and fails, faster. Our initiative also connects patients and their families with the resources they need to help them get through the journey with as much support as possible.
