Oops, I did it again! I’ve signed up to run for the Dragon Master Initiative to help raise funds for an incredible charity dedicated to fighting cancer. As many of us know, my family has been deeply affected by this disease.

This year, my son Paulo will join me, and we will run a 10K together, while I also take on a half marathon. I’ve added a special challenge this time to honor Rafael Figueroa, my ex-husband and the father of my daughter, who lost his battle on February 23, 2025. 

My first race with Dragon Master was on February 23, 2025 — a day that changed our lives forever. Around mile 4 or 5, I received devastating news about Rafael — a moment I will never forget. I was running that day for him and so many children and families affected by cancer, running with a purpose beyond myself. 

This race is incredibly meaningful to me. No amount of money is too little — every donation brings us closer to a world without cancer. If you can, please donate and share this message with your friends. Your support helps save lives, spread information and gives hope to families like mine.
