I started running for Team Fired Up for the 2024 Dopey Challenge. I find it very rewarding to put my running into something other then myself.  I chose Dragon Masters Inititive, Team Fired Up for their dedication to support pediatric cancer research.  Pediatric cancers are not the same as adult cancers and need a vast amount of research in their treatments.  Research is costly and Dragon Masters works to pull the collective research together providing more information to more doctors and providers. They also help provide the cost for travel for specialized cancers.  Patients and their families may need to travel to specialists for their cancer treatment and this is an additional cost for an already costly disease.
