I thought it was strep throat, but it was thyroid cancer. I was 24 years old! I am a survivor, thanks to the medical research my doctor had access to.

My story has a happy ending, but so many others don't. Breast cancer took my grandmother when I was just one year old. I wish I got the chance to know her. Maybe important medical reseach being done today can give somebody else that chance with their loved one. Because I don't ever want my daughter to live in a world where cancer takes someone she loves, I am running the 2026 DIsney Princess Challenge at Walt Disney World for the Dragon Master Intiative!!! Dragon Master Intiative supports cancer and other disease research, and makes past and present data more accessible to those who need it.
