Staicey Scholtz & future service dog, Hammond

Dear friend,

Hammond and I recently accepted the challenge of participating in DogFest North Central benefitting Canine Companions and the amazing work they do to provide expertly trained service dogs to people with disabilities.

We need your help!  Our 6th annual DogFest North Central takes place Sunday, September 20, 2026 in New Albany, OH and we are walking for those who cannot.  The money we raise will go towards placing highly trained service dogs FREE OF CHARGE to amazing people like DeAnn, Devin, Tammy, Maddie, Gwendolyn, Pete, Alex, Emily, Kat, Jen, Julia & Julie. I’m lucky to call these graduates my friends and am happy for the dogs I raised: Elroy II, Ben III, Johnson IV, Feldman II, Kinsman, Gozon, Prince VI, Bingham III, Fudge, Ritz II, Skipper IV & Rocco V who are providing them independence!  Please help Hammond & I raise $5,000 for Canine Companions again this year!

On August 14th, I will turn in Hammond III, my 15th Canine Companions puppy, for professional training.  It's always a hard day but I'm glad my new pup will be around to provide some doggy snuggles on the way home.

Hammond and I hope to reach $5,000 this so we can name a future service dog. As of today, I've raised $1,700 of this $5,000 goal.  Won’t you help me by making a tax-deductible donation to my page before Sept. 20th by clicking on this link?

You may be able to double, or even triple, your donation. Check with your employer to see if they match charitable contributions.

Any amount, great or small, helps place these exceptional dogs with exceptional people.  I greatly appreciate your support and will keep you posted on my progress.

Together we can help make a difference in the life of someone with a disability.

Sincerely,

Staicey & Hammond III
