Welcome to Family Promise of Waukesha County's Annual Golf Outing

Join us for a day of golf, camaraderie, and fun at the beautiful Oconomowoc Golf Club. We welcome all to join from the seasoned professionals to beginners! An outing with no pressure, just a day on the course and an opportunity to learn more about the Family Promise of Waukesha County mission. The day consists of a round of golf, live and silent auctions, raffle prizes, and of course lots of great food and beverages.

Not a golfer? Attend our evening program and participate in the live and silent auctions, raffle prizes, and enjoy a delicious dinner!

All proceeds help Family Promise of Waukesha County to expand on programming initiatives. A few examples of how your generosity will be helping the families in our community are:

  • Utilities and Wifi
  • Case Management
  • Car Repairs
  • Bus Passes
  • Shelter Program Leases

What to Expect

  • 18 Holes of Golf: Before hitting the course, enjoy a buffet lunch!
  • Prizes and Awards: Show off your golf skills and compete in various categories of games for a chance at awesome prizes and bragging rights!
  • Networking Opportunities: Connect with other community members with the similar interest in supporting the Family Promise of Waukesha County's mission. 
  • Raffle: Try your luck in the draw for fun prizes.
  • Live & Silent Auctions: Bid on exciting auction packages. 
  • Evening Dinner Celebration: Finish your day with a mouthwatering dinner and listen to live music, while also learning about the work we do every day in our community.


Attire

Men, the dress code includes mid-thigh length shorts or slacks and a collared shirt.

Women, the dress code includes mid-thigh length shorts, capris, golf skirts and shirts with or without collars, sleeve or sleeveless.

Our mission is to help low-income families and families experiencing homelessness achieve sustainable independence through a community-based response.

Schedule of the Day

NEW! 10-11:15AM Registration and Lunch
When you arrive please check-in at the registration table. The driving range, putting green and a tailgate style buffet lunch will be available to you. Do not miss your opportunity to purchase a wristband bonus, raffle tickets, bid on silent auction items and new this year a Human Slot Machine!

11:30AM Shotgun start
Complimentary beverages (beer, gatorade and water) and refreshment stations will be set up around the course in coolers. Keep a lookout for educational experience stations to learn about Family Promise of Waukesha County in a fun new way!

For those attending only the dinner and program, check in will begin at 4:00PM.
4:00PM       Social + Dinner
When your round of golf is complete, the evening will begin with delicious butler-passed hors d'oeuvre selections along with a cash bar for your refreshment and live music. You can also purchase raffle tickets and bid on silent auction items.

A delicious buffet dinner will include a bowl of tossed salad with a variety of dressings; pork medallions with mushroom sauce, lemon butter chicken breasts; honey glazed multi colored carrots, steamed broccoli; parmesan fingerling potatoes, herb butter angel hair pasta and for dessert key lime pie and caramel pecan brownies.

5:30PM Program
We ask you to join us under the tent for the program, which includes an opportunity to learn about the mission of Family Promise of Waukesha County through the words of former clients. The program will also include the awards, Live Auction and Family Promise Auction.
