In the fall of 2013 a little boy named Owen was born and changed the world. In early 2014 he changed it again when he had his vry first seizure. And in the winter of 2014 changed it once again with the diagnosis of Dravet Syndrome.

He has, in truth, changed the world with every breath that he has taken. And now, I have made it my mission to change the world for him. 

Just 4 years before he was born a group of Dravet parents created the Dravet Syndrome Foundation. Their mission: 

"to aggressively raise funds for Dravet syndrome and related epilepsies; to support and fund research; increase awareness; and to provide support to affected individuals and families."

And DSF is doing just that. There has been more than $14.1MILLION dollars that has gone to research. More than $304THOUSAND dollars that has gone to support patients. And countless hours supporting families. And our family has carried on that mission.

Over the last 10 years our family has raised more than $95,000 for DSF and their mission. And we do it with the hope of a cure. And we beleive that a cure is coming! And when it does we want to know that we did absolutely EVERYTHING we could to make it happen.
