After careful consideration, with much regret, we have made the difficult decision to cancel our annual celebration of Mehregan at Untermyer Gardens, which was scheduled for September 27, 2026. The continuing turmoil in Iran, together with rapidly changing circumstances, has caused great concern and distress within the Persian community, both here and around the world. The lack of clarity about what may happen from one day to the next also makes it extremely difficult to plan responsibly and to ask our supporters and guests to make a firm commitment to the event. It is our hope that we may come together next year to celebrate Mehregan joyously in the spirit of light, love, and friendship. Meanwhile, we encourage you to find solace in our Persian garden, a place of timeless beauty and harmony.
