GENERAL INFO

ALL THINGS PAWTOBERFEST:

WHAT IS PAWTOBERFEST?

Pawtoberfest is a dog-friendly festival featuring craft brews and spirits tasting, pet contests, activities for the whole family, and plenty of tasty food from local food trucks! Pawtoberfest is one of HSPPR's annual signature fundraising events, where all proceeds benefit the homeless and abused animals at Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region! View last year's photos HERE.

WHEN IS PAWTOBERFEST?

Pawtoberfest will take place Saturday, September 12th, 2026 from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. Pawtoberfest happens wind, rain, or shine! Emergency weather plans are in place for event day.

WHERE IS PAWTOBERFEST?

This year's Pawtoberfest is at the property of Union Printers Home at Printers Hill, located right across from Memorial Park in Colorado Springs. The festival will border a paved road and sidewalk allowing those with strollers, wheelchairs, etc. to join in on the fun! Portable restrooms will be located on site, including ADA restrooms. Please contact events@hsppr.org with any further questions.

OTHER:

  • All vendors and sponsors who have a booth space must provide a certificate of liability insurance (COI) with BOTH Union Printers Partners, LLC (101 S Union Blvd, 80910) and Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region (610 Abbot Ln, 80905) added as additionally insured certificate holders. Vendors selling taxable items must provide a copy of their sales tax license and are responsible for reporting and paying all applicable sales taxes. For liability purposes, any vendors that fail to provide a COI prior to the event risk losing the opportunity to participate in Pawtoberfest. If a vendor is still invited to participate but has not provided a COI, the vendor assumes all liability for damages that occur at or within their booth space, or are reasonably tied to the business.
  • Electricity is NOT provided at Pawtoberfest. You may bring a quiet generator, but it must not disturb guests or fellow participants. Generators must be pre-approved by HSPPR by 8/24/26 or before by emailing events@hsppr.org.
  • Staff working at your booth are already included in your Vendor Booth or Sponsorship package, so you do not need to purchase additional tickets for them. If staff would like to participate in festival or tasting festivities, they will need to purchase a "Barks & Brews" ticket (if not already included in the sponsorship package selected). No ticket includes food, so please plan on bringing money for one of our amazing food trucks or bringing your own! Please note that four (4) "Just the Kibble" tickets are available for pickup at will call for all vendors and sponsor levels. Additional "Just the Kibble" tickets can be purchased at a $5 off discount after booth purchase.

Loading Zone & Parking Pass FAQ

Vendor parking spaces are limited so we've come up with the following plan to get everyone unloaded, parked, and set up for a great festival day!

General FAQ:

  • Each business gets ONE (1) Vendor PARKING PASS. This Parking Pass allows you to enter the Loading Zone (instructions above) and park in the Iowa Lot, which is the designated Vendor Parking Area.
  • The following businesses also get ONE (1) LOADING ONLY PASS in addition to their LOADING/PARKING PASS.
    • Beverage Partners - we know you have heavy kegs and a lot of supplies!
    • Presenting, Better Together, Brews & Spirits, & Festival Sponsors
  • General Vendors ($250) & Community Sponsors ($500) will recieve ONE (1) LOADING/PARKING PASS, but will not recieve an additional LOADING ONLY PASS.
  • When using the LOADING PASS, park in the General Event Parking Lot located at Printers Park Medical Plaza: 175 S Union Blvd, Colorado Springs, CO 80910.
  • When using the PARKING PASS, please return to the Iowa Ave. Parking Lot to utilize the Vendor Parking Lot.

Questions & Anwsers:

  • Can I purchase an additional LOADING/PARKING PASS or LOADING ONLY PASS? No, due to the constraints of the Vendor Parking lot (there are only about 100 spaces!) and the amount of cars in the loading zone during morning unloading, we are unable to add any additional cars at this time.
  • When do I pick up my LOADING/PARKING PASS or LOADING ONLY PASS? You will pick them up from HSPPR Staff once you arrive on site at Iowa Ave.
  • I have a General Vendor space, but I have two cars - what should I do? The first car that arrives for your business will get the LOADING/PARKING PASS and be allowed to enter the Loading Zone. You can then exchange the pass in the General Event Parking Lot located at Printers Park Medical Plaza: 175 S Union Blvd, Colorado Springs, CO 80910. OR - you can combine supplies into one vehicle ahead of time.
  • Will I be able to park in the Vendor Parking lot with a LOADING ONLY PASS? No, the only vehicles allows into the Vendor Parking lot are ones with a LOADING/PARKING PASS.

Still have questions? We highly encourage you to attend the Video Call for Vendors, Sponsors, & Beverage Partners (details below). Or, you can email us at events@hsppr.org for clarification.

We want everyone to have a great experience at our festival - our business partners, guests, volunteers, and staff alike! Please be kind and curtious to your fellow vendors, and HSPPR volunteers and staff.
