At 35 weeks pregnant with my son Oliver, a trip to labor and delivery for headache and high blood pressure became a preeclampsia diagnosis, and we went from thinking we had 5 weeks until meeting him to a maximum of 2 weeks if I made it to my 37 week induction. We made it, and through a difficult labor complicated by magnesium sulfate therapy, we met our sweet baby boy last September. He is worth every moment! I struggled with my blood pressure for nearly 2 months postpartum, but now we are both thriving and it is a joy to watch my best buddy grow!
