Remembering Bill Fleeman

Bill Fleeman believed in doing good for others. As a business leader, he was known for his drive and determination. As a person, he was known for his generosity. Even in the midst of his own cancer battle, he gave quietly to families facing their own hardships.

Bill’s passing in 1999 marked the beginning of a legacy that lives on today through Runway for Hope. His family continues to honor his life by supporting others impacted by cancer. Each year, we celebrate his commitment to kindness and his lasting impact on our community.

Runway for Hope is an elegant evening affair that fuels Hope Cancer Resources’ mission to keep cancer from upending lives. Proceeds support a full spectrum of care, from transportation to treatment and financial assistance for prescriptions and basic needs, to counseling and support groups. Funds also help expand cancer prevention services, including education, screenings, and wellness programs that empower individuals to reduce their risk before a diagnosis ever occurs.

Runway for Hope is more than an event, it’s a continuation of Bill Fleeman’s legacy of compassion. Every dollar raised directly supports cancer patients and their families right here in Northwest Arkansas. From transportation to treatment, counseling, wellness, and financial assistance, your support ensures no one faces cancer alone.
